The same is true for when you release a key, and there are several different Release Modes, so you can choose whether to stop effects instantly, wait for the next beat/bar division, have the entire Gesture play back, and so on. Pressing a key on your MIDI controller will trigger a Gesture and begin cycling through whatever modulation envelopes it contains, with the plug‑in waiting for the next pre‑specified beat/bar division before engaging the effects. The Length of each Gesture can range from two bars down to a 16th‑note triplet, while the timeline Grid for a Gesture can be set between one bar and a 64th note. A Gesture contains timeline information, too, determining how parameter modulation is scaled to fit the grid and when a Gesture begins and ends.

The effects are applied using what Izotope call Gestures, which are made up of one or more effects modules (Stutter Gestures) or a noise generator (Generator Gestures), and are each tied to a single MIDI note. I use a Cintiq Pro13 and a PC Monitor but I can not reproduce the issue you have. There is absolutely no reason for CSP to have any lag or freezes, other drawing programs work absolutely fine, unfortunately CSP does not and it basically ruins drawing for me. So here is my theory why this lag occurs:ĬLIP STUDIO PAINT has difficulties to work properly when 2 or more Monitors are used at the same time.

OS: Windows 10 Home (Creators Update 1709) 64-BitĪll Drivers (Wacom Tablet, Graphic card etc) are all up-to-date. so the issue isnt from faulty tablet drivers or bad PC Performance I tried out drawing on photoshop and paint tool SAI and on these programs there we NO cursor freezes at all. and here is probably a hint why that is: all of us who have this cursor issue in CLIP STUDIO PAINT use multiple monitors. I also asked around other people and they are experience these performance issues as well. i do not mean slow line strokes or anything, actual cursor freezes. So my problem i have with Clip Paint for the last couple months is, the cursor tends to freeze in place for a slight second sometimes which can be very confusing and it also messes up the linestroke or doing rough sketches.Īnd this cursor freeze has nothing to do with textured pencils, it has these issues with G-Pen and default Pencil, it basically means the Cursor stays in place for half a second before "teleporting" over to the actual location of my stylus.
